September 30, 2017 –
Carmichael Recreation and Park District celebrates 108 years of our community! Held at Carmichael Park, the event kicks off with a Pancake Breakfast from 8:30AM-11:30AM hosted by the Fair Oaks Host Lions Club, Adults $5/Children 12 & under $3.
Event goers can wander over towards the Daniel Bishop Memorial Pavilion where they will find one of the largest annual classic car shows, hosted by the Cappuccino Cruisers Classics Car Club in Folsom California. The car show features hot rods, classic cars, street rods, trucks and custom muscle cars! Our entertainment headliner on stage this year is Todd Morgan & The Emblems, taking the stage from 12PM-3PM, plus catch the opening act Jenny Lynn and her Real Gone Daddies from 10AM-11:30AM.
Apple Recipe Contest- Enter your favorite savory or sweet Apple Recipe in our Contest taking place in the Carmichael Park Clubhouse at 11:30AM. $10 entry fee, prizes will be awarded.
The event also features good eats provided by local food trucks. Participating food trucks include: Cowtown Creamery, It's Nacho Truck, Hefty Gyros, Ronnie's Italian Ice, Azteca Street Tacos and Buckhorn Grill Sacramento . You will also find local businesses and organizations in our exhibitor area.
Kids Zone- Our newly expanded Kids Zone includes a Petting Zoo, 18' Mobile Rock Wall, Bubble Soccer, Games, Arts and Crafts, Foam Sword Training, 28' Kong Krazy Slide, Mickeys Park Bounce House and more!
