The Iola Rose Band from Sacramento, CA consists of singer/songwriters that play a wide variety of music featuring an eclectic mix of American Roots, Alternative Folk/Rock/Country, Hawaiian, Blues and Swing originals and covers. The on-point harmonies of Susan Johnson (bass, guitar, violin, harmonica and vocals) and Bonnie Brown (guitar, vocals) highlight their 40-year singer/songwriter collaborations. Carla Fontanilla’s rhythm guitar, ukulele, and vocals lend color while Tina Macuha contributes her songwriting skills with Iola Rose’s arrangements on a number of original tunes and adds a little percussion to the mix. (Iola is pronounced eye-o-la)
